“Professor Deanna is one of the only professors I can recall when I was a student myself  because her messages all had a dose of inspiration. When I was booking someone to work with us at the Ontario Veterinary College, I immediately knew she was the one. She taught us how to use every single day as a way to build ourselves from the ground up, and make our way using the concept of resilience..she taught us that without hardships, we would not likely be able to learn all the necessary skills of overcoming adversities which are highly indicative of a person's character and paves the way to the greatest moments of one's life.. she taught us it is important to embrace the negatives in order to achieve the positives. She also supports the development of resiliency, and that it is a skill that one can develop over time. With mental health and well-being at the forefront of today's society, her support and encouragement and message is one of utmost importance. Thank you again Deanna”.

Let's talk about your particular situation and plan to way forward together…

40%

The Canadian Student Wellbeing Survey (2022) found that more than 40% of students said they were seriously considering dropping out, and some 29% did either switch programs/schools or left school altogether, and usually near the end of their first year.

Pressure, money, and regretted program choices were the top three reasons for leaving school. While other reasons for leaving school can be complicated, and vary by region, mental health and well-being continue to play a significant role in the lives of college and university students. Connection and support also play key roles in persistence and school completion.

The financial and personal costs for dropping out are significant and sometimes feel irreversible. Let's talk to determine the next best moves for you so you do complete your degree, diploma or certification and start on a career path that make you love you life.
